You fall in love as he does and a part of you dies when he does. During one of the epic battles, the King is present for against the Scots, he instructs one of his men to use the arrows and to open fire. Consequently he defends his actions by uncovering the offenses that the baronial adult male committed to the hapless adult females and guiltless kids of Scotland.

He returns many years later to start a life of peace but due to unforeseen circumstances he is pushed into uniting the Scots and overthrowing British rule over Scotland. Braveheart is a realistic portrayal of the power struggle between England and Scotland.

Obviously, the princess was intelligent and good educated adult female. The scene begins as the warier approaches the beautiful princess with worn out apparels. This film was based on the real life story of Scotland's rebellion from under English rule in the thirteenth century.

In the movie Braveheart starring Mel Gibson this thought is the basis for the whole movie. The passion Mel Gibson through out this film is just one of the reasons not to miss Braveheart.
